| Researchers investigate how TRDMT1 impacts DNA methylation in glioblastoma, an aggressive brain tumor associated with poor survival rates. TRDMT1 is recognized for its role in affecting chemotherapy responses, genetic stability, and cellular diversity within glioblastoma cells. However, little is known about TRDMT1's influence on DNA methylation and related pathways in cancer cells. In this study, a knockout of TRDMT1 is used to observe changes in DNA methylation patterns. To streamline their research, EpigenTek ELISAs were used, including the MethylFlash™ Global DNA Methylation ELISA Easy Kit, DNMT1 Assay Kit, and DNA Methyltransferase Activity/Inhibition Assay Kit to determine total 5mC in DNA, DNMT1 and DNMT levels. to measure 5mC in DNA, DNMT1, and DNMT levels. » View Article Here |
